Lovely 3-night stay at this homestay. we landed up unannounced without any pre-booking - they accommodated us and treated us like members of their extended family with warmth and hospitality. They fed us delicious food, simple home-cooked meals with tons of pure ghee, absolutely earthy and yummy. There are several nearby trails that you can do, soak in the views, enjoy the quiet and solitude. Village Laida is a lottle hamlet with lovely people, everyone stops to say hello, the kids do a polite namaste and no request is too much for the lovely owners of this place, always making an extra effort to delight their guests. The washrooms are shared between two rooms, but were absolutely clean with toilet paper, handwash and hot water.Go here to et away from the hustle and bustle of city life and make new friends in Laida. This is a good spot to visit close to jibhi and Tirthan Valley which can get quiet crowded and commercial.
